Welcome to 192-168-1-1-router.com

This website was created by Ben Clarke. After seeing several friends and family members struggle to connect to their home Wi-Fi network as admin, I decided to create this website to provide free guidance to people across the world. I studied Computer Science at the University of New Brunswick in Canada and have been working with network routers for more than 20 years. I launched my career at Nortel Networks, a Canadian multinational telecommunications manufacturer, where I was programming data networking equipment including industrials routers for major ISPs.

This website covers a wide variety of IP addresses. Some are popular gateways for admin access to a router, some are less common private IP addresses, and some are erroneous IPs that people mistakenly think will let them log into their Wi-Fi router. In every case, our goal is to provide the relevant information and guidance our visitor needs to achieve their goal. Most of our guides also contain a video tutorial where I teach you step by step how to navigate that particular IP address.
